Cooperative Petra Pottery Society

The Petra Pottery Cooperative Society is located in the governorate of Ma'an - Petra. It was founded on 21/3/2005.  We aim to provide job opportunities for the women of the region, as there are women trained in the profession of ceramics, and they have experience in this field. this allows us to benefit from the natural resources in the region.

This traditional hand crafts company focuses on producing products such as chairs and pots that use dried banana leaves as one of the main materials. the employees follow traditional methods while creating these products in order to ensure authenticity as well as durability within the product in order to reflect the historical roots of such a practice.

Maha Amairah, based in Salt, Jordan, is a business owner that is well known for her production of the traditional "hatta" article of clothing that is found in middle eastern clothing. she implements traditional techniques in order to produce this intricately patterned piece that is close to the hearts of many.

Women Association of Iraq Al Amir

جمعية سيدات عراق الأمير

The Iraq Al-Amir Women’s Cooperative Association was established in 2001 and aims to preserve the environment and the distinctive architectural heritage of the region. This cooperation offers multiple workshops, but the one being highlighted here is the ceramics / pottery workshop, where pieces are produced to simulate what is in the Jordanian museums.

Tiraz Museum

The Tiraz Museum is specialized in designing and creating traditional Jordanian clothing items. They do this by implementing traditional embroidery patterns as well as traditional stitching techniques in order to stay authentic and of high quality.
